Thursday 19th April
The staff of R S McColl, 44 Clerkhill Road, Peterhead Prize Bingo, in memory of a work colleague, in The Buchanhaven Hearts. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.30 start. Tickets, priced at £3.00 for adults and £1.00 for children, are now on sale in the store. All proceeds to The Anchor Unit, Aberdeen.
Friday 20th April
A Quiz Night in aid of the Fraserburgh Life Boat will be held in the Royal British Legion at 7 for a 7.30pm start. Entry is £10 per team of 4 with funds in aid of the RNLI.
Saturday 21st April
The Waterside Inn in Peterhead is holding a Buttert Morning between 10am and 12pm and are raising funds for the Meethill Prom. Entry is £2 for adults and £1 for childrenm There will be various stalls and all are welcome to attend.
New Pitsligo Church is holding a Soup and Sweet from 12 noon till 2pm. All are welcome and there will be facilities for takeaways for those who unable to attend.
St John's Church, Longside Coffee Morning and Car Boot sale in St John's Hall from 10.00am - 12 noon. To book a stall, call 01779 821297.
Lonmay Church is holding a Daffodil Buttery morning for church funds in the community hall, St Combs from 10 till 11.30am. Admission £2 for adults and £1 for primary school children. There will be all the usual stalls and all are welcome.
A buttery morning will be held in the McAuley Hall, Farserburgh from 10am till 12 noon to raise funds for Gil Guide Rebecca McGregor who is 1 of 10 girls chosen to represent Scottish Girl Guiding on an international trip to India.
The Peterhead Kedron Gospel Male Voice Festival at The Congregational Church, Peterhead.
There will be community singing from 6.30pm with the Festival beginning at 6.45pm with choirs from Inverness, Moray and Peterhead.

Grangepark Home is holding a Strawberry Tea from 2 till 4pm at the Grangepark Home. Entry is £3 per person with home-bakes for sale and there will also be a bottle stall. All proceeds go to Residents Comfort Fund.

Meethill Primary School Bingo Tea will be held, with doors opening at 6pm and eyes down at 6.30pm. Adult entry is £3 and children £1. Tea/coffee will be served at the interval.

Leona Simpson and Makenna Mooney "Prize Bingo" in the Buchanhaven Hearts Club at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. Entry is £2.50 which includes refreshments. All proceeds to their World Challenge 2019, supporting the local community in Belize.

Act Peterhead’s Little Shop of Horrors will take place at the Peterhead Community Centre Theatre on Friday the 27th and on Saturday the 28th of April for a 7pm start. Tickets are now on sale, costing £8 each and are available from Beggs Shoes Peterhead or by contacting ACT Peterhead on Facebook.
The Fetterangus Seniors Club presents Ronnie Ross in concert for an evening of Scottish, Country and Easy Listening music at the Fetterangus Village Hall at 7pm. Tickets cost £7 and are available by calling 01771 623 675.

Sunday 29th April
The Buchan Vintage Tractor Charity Road Run will leave from Fetterangus at 10.00am, heading to Strichen where it will stop at The Lake, continuing on to Rosehearty, stopping at The Square, via Middlemuir and Craigmaud and on to Fraserburgh Leisure Centre for lunch. The run will return to Fetterangus via Moss-side of Cairness, Strathellie and Riding Hill. The run has raised over £101,000 since 2003. Proceeds this year will go to Fraserburgh Parkinsons Support Group and McMemory Maker.

The Fraserburgh Armed Forces And Veterans Breakfast Club will meet at the Saltoun Arms, Fraserburgh at 10am. This is for serving members and veterans of Her Majesties Armed Forces.
Wednesday 16th May
A fundraising event will be held at the Fife Lodge Hotel in Banff from 6 till 9pm with lots to see and do including holistic treatments, card readings, massages, gift stalls, arts and crafts and much more. Buchan Heritage Society 34th Strichen Festival Traditional Weekend and it's not just for the competitors. Come along to hear music, singing and storytelling and hae a fly cup and a news. The Fraserburgh Heritage Centre is now open for the new season, Monday to Saturday 11am to 4pm and on Sundays from 12 to 4pm. Come and see the new display, ‘Panto Time’. Further details are available by calling 01346 512 888. The centre will close on Wednesday the 31st of October.
Peterhead’s Shopmobility scheme, which loans equipment free of charge to people with physical disabilities, is appealing for volunteers. Shopmobility operates from a portacabin in the Maiden Street Car Park. If you can spare a few hours, or would like more information, call 01771 691919.
Knitters and crocheters in the local area are invited to get involved in the Peterhead Poppy Project 2018. The aim is to create an art installation in the town to commemorate the centenary of the end of the 1st World War. This project is open to people of all ages. A lifeboat rescue carried out by the crew from Fraserburgh during the First World War is among six heroic stories to be featured in a national exhibition. The RNLI and Arts Council England is highlighting the story of the Fraserburgh lifeboat rescuing 14 people from SS Glenravel when she was targeted by a German submarine in 1915. The exhibit, called Hope in the Great War, is taking place at the Arbuthnot Museum in Peterhead until Saturday 7th April 7. The Museum is open from 10am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 4pm on weekdays except Wednesday. It is also open from 10am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 3pm on Saturday.

Age Peterhead provides a ‘sitter service’ to relieve carers in the immediate local area. Sitters can provide company for short periods of time allowing their family or carers time off to do essential tasks. Usually, sitters are provided by arrangement with Aberdeenshire Social Work Department, but occasionally they can be provided on a private basis. Y Suffer in Silence offer Group Emotional Support, 121 Support and Telephone Support to those suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Stress and Mental Health. A new support group “It’s All About Me” for sufferers of M.E & F.M Chronic Fatigue Syndrome meets at the Fraserburgh Leisure Centre (Lounge Area).
