Saturday 28th November
The Buchanhaven Heritage Society in Peterhead will have its Christmas Lights Switch on by Santa and our very own Kenny King. The event will be from 3 - 5pm. Hot chocolate, marshmallows and mince pies will be on hand, with Carols around the tree, or in the centre if the weather is inclement. While you’re there, you can enjoy meeting Bob the Barn Owl and friends.
"Buttery Morning" in the Scout Hut, York Street, Peterhead from 10.00am - 12 noon. All proceeds to the Scouts.
Lonmay Church Work Party "Buttery Morning" and "Christmas Fair" with various stalls in the New Community Hall, St Combs from 10.00an-11.30am. Entry is £2.00 for adults and 50p for primary school children. Santa will make a visit.
WHSmith in Peterhead will be holding a book signing for Estelle Maskame’s second book, “Did I Mention I Need You?” at 1pm.
Model Show in the Methodist Church Hall, Queen Street, Peterhead from 10.00am - 4.00pm. Models on show from the Aberdeen Modellers Society including Slot Car Racing and Remote Control Car Racing. Get along and make a model aircraft - £5.00 charge applies. Soup,pies and butteries available.
See the annual switch on of the Chrsitmas Lights at Reidfield Place, St. combs at 6.30pm - this year the display is switched on by the St. combs Primary School. Children will be able to write a letter to Santa. Tea and warm mincemeat pies served after the switch on.
A fundraising soup and sweet / Christmas fayre will be held at Abbey Court in Mintlaw between 11 am and 2 pm. Entry is £4. In aid of the tennants at Abbey Court.
The Park and Impressions of Banff & Buchan Photography Exhibition and Sale by Debbie Breese will be held at the Red Wood Lounge in Ritchie Hall, Strichen from 11am – 4pm. There will be refreshments and a raffle in aid of Strichen Community Park.
Fraserburgh United Reformed Church are holding thier Christmas Fayre and Soup & Sweet (served from 12 noon) in the Church Hall from 11.30am to 2pm. Come along and see Santa in his grotto.

Fetterangus School "Christmas Fair" in the Village Hall between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
The Peterhead Old Parish Church Choir is having a Christmas Carol concert at 2.30pm, led by the Salvation Army with special guests the Peterhead 5th Brownies. Santa will be there with refreshments served at the end. Transport available call 01779 471827. Entry is free.
Peterhead Jog Scotland in partnership with Peterhead Football Club and family and friends of Charles (Jock) Duncan fundraising day in aid of Chest Heart Stroke Scotland to help fund Peterhead's first public access defibrillator. The day will include fun walks and runs. Registration will take place at the club from 12 noon - 12.45pm.
Saturday 5th December
St Peter Episcopal Church, Merchant Street, Peterhead "Buttery Morning" with sales tables from 10.00am - 12 noon. Entry is £2.00.
"Jesus Brings Hope" Concert in The Methodist Church, Queen Street, Peterhead from 7.00pm - 8.00pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards and all are welcome.
Gordon & Sheila Webster invite you along to the switching on of their Christmas Lights at 87 High Street, New Pitsligo at 7.00pm. Donations welcome with all proceeds to Motor Neurone Disease Scotland.

A Tree Planting Ceremony & Dedication to remember those lost to suicide will be held in Kellands Park, Inverurie at 12 noon. The ceremony will be conducted by the Aberdeenshire Council co-leader Councillor Martin Kitts-Hayes. Refreshments will be provided.
St Andrews Church, Peterhead Carer and Toddler Group meets every Wednesday morning from 10.00-11.30 for anyone with babies to children aged 3. Come along and join in the fun.
"Experiences" Peterhead & District Cancer Support Group welcomes everyone affected by cancer to meetings held every second Wednesday of the month at The Albert Hotel, Queen Street, Peterhead. Lifts can be arranged to the meetings. Call Kathleen on 01779 477693 or Frances on 475936.
