The man who started it all and made the dream a reality. From organising nine Restricted Service broadcasts to planning the full service Kenny as he did in the early days gets the North East up and at it in the morning with the Brekky Thing. At the weekends he takes a nostalgic trip back to the sixties and remembers the songs that were played on the offshore stations of the time. Apart from these regular shows he owns and operates the station.

Greatest Influence on Career

Johnnie Walker and his August 14th broadcast on Radio Caroline when the station went illegal due to the Marine Offences Bill in 1967.

To meet Johnnie Walker and run a radio station from a ship as a tribute.

Have done the boat bit refer below.

Music Taste

Love it all from the Beatles, Roy Orbison,Motown, Atlantic Soul, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke and Rod to name but a few.It is varied and also includes Vera Lynn.Like a lot of the new bands as introduced to by Mitch Bain who keeps me up to date as to who to listen out for.

Previous Employment

Includes 23 years in the oil industry which at the start was great. The pioneering days of the North Sea development.
