Playing the music you simply won't hear anywhere else on the radio!
The new voice on Waves Radio from 2 to 6 pm weekdays. I'll be bringing you the best music that's out there now, and the best music from years gone by. Good music is what I'm all about, so it's what you'll get when you tune into me on Waves! I love playing music that perhaps you haven't heard before along with the classics. I've included a small Q&A below so you know a bit more about who you're listening to!

My Classic Record of The Week this week is The Rolling Stones "Exile On Main Street". Make sure you are tuned to the Afternoon Hit Mix Monday to Friday and you can hear a track from this great album every day, plus some interesting facts about it!
Q & A
Birthplace: Edinburgh
First Album: I think the first album I bought with my own cash was Aerosmith's 'Toys In The Attic'- must have been a rebellious early teen phase!
Music Taste: Hugely varied! I love pretty much everything from Classical music to, RnB, Hip Hop, Classic Rock and Pop, Jazz, Adult Contemporary, Blues- the list goes on. If I had to pick my favourite genre though it would probably Soul music.
Dislikes: Not much. Dance and Electro music has never sat well with me but that's about it. Outside of music- brussel sprouts!
Favourite Artist: An almost impossible question to answer. Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, David Bowie, Beach Boys are all up there. But if I had to pick one it would be Marvin Gaye- amazing man and voice. I just wish he made more albums before leaving us.
Something you may not know about me: I am also a saxophonist which I studied at University. So keep an eye out for me bringing it out of the case around the North East.....maybe!
